NEHA: The beautiful continent

Hi Everyone.Welcome to my blog.This post is about the future of RuneScape.

I'd like to introduce myself to you all. My name is Mark Gerhard and I am the new CEO of Jagex, the makers of RuneScape. I have been fortunate enough to have worked at Jagex for some time now and consider us to be first and foremost a games developer. We’re driven by teams that not only care passionately about games but also actively enjoy playing the games we create. We are going to be making a number of improvements to the game, I'm also keen to clear up a few misconceptions about RuneScape gold at the same time and I also believe there are a few things we have done wrong in the past that I want to apologise for.

To start off with, we want to be more open and listen to our players. Some of you may consider Jagex a secretive and closed-off company which isn't how we want to be perceived moving forward. Unlike most other companies, it just isn't our style to spend our time self marketing or shouting about how great we are, we prefer to just get on with it and make cool games, but that doesn't mean we don't listen to what you have to say.

A good example of this is that a lot of free players told us they found our video adverts before the game annoying to the point it was putting them off playing, so we've scrapped them with immediate effect. We now appreciate that it can be frustrating having to sit through a video advert when you just want to play RuneScape gold, so we have to put our hands up to admit we made a mistake and say that we're sorry. To be completely candid with you, video adverts generate significantly more revenue than other adverts, but as one of our fundamental philosophies is that having fun is more important to us than making as much money as possible, we have removed video adverts from the game.

We are going to be bringing back Development Diaries but making them more regular and focused on some of the different projects we're currently working on for you. We'd also like to clear up a few issues surrounding the free game. As a responsible company we have had to comply with certain regulatory obligations to ensure online safety for any younger players and as a result we introduced Quick Chat for players under a certain age, but this was to meet our legal responsibilities rather than who the game is designed for, it’s probably also worth noting that we have a total of 4 Quick Chat worlds in a total of 165 RuneScape worlds. You have to be intelligent, if your some noob coming here with no knowledge of the game, or what certain things do, you might as well leave or learn. Here's an example of a bug, this will be Tainted-Ones bug number nine.

Eventually we got around to experimenting with the chests in the game room that held GP. After a little experimentation, we found out you could duplicate the GP in the chest by having the owner leave his house, then log out, during which time a second person still in the house would take the runescape gold out. When the first person logged in, the runescape would still be in the chest. This could be repeated infinitely, and two people could make 3M an hour using a mahogany chest with 50k. Unfortunately, this was also a fairly simple bug, and it was fixed within a few days, and we only made about 20M off it."

That was an easy bug. If it was still around, many people would have figured it out. Lets break it into parts.

Bug finding
1. Find a buggy area worth exploiting, Castle Wars will be my example.
2. Look around, mini-map and walk, look and see if you can tele-grab, tele-other, or even attack.rs gold is very important.
3. Go into a game, what do certain things do, where could you possibly leave from.
4. Look at items that teleport you, not a ring or necklace or ectophile, like a quest item.
5. Try and smuggle it in, this is going to be the hard part.
6. Once in the game with the item, try and teleport.

8. Doesn't work? Don't be angry or worried, keep testing , patience is the key to bugging.

Get a friend
Have some sort of communication with them other than PMing/email (MSN, AIM, etc…)
You can get MSN by going to hotmail.com, creating an email, and then downloading it.
Share ideas, trust in your runescape gold is important.

In RuneScape there is always bugs in major mini-games / updates, Never give up hope, In Barbarian Assault l, you were able to kill peoples cats with the cannons, it was recently fixed, this was a sort of minor and half useless bug but you get the idea.

There will and always shall be bugs be them big or not in any mini-game / Big update / addition ~ Fools
1. Select run (make sure you have a book in your inventory, have the other item as well)
2. Now click as far away as you can.
3. When you start to run click the book several times until you stop
4. Now exit the book and drop the item for teleportation
5. The item should teleport to the clicked location and you run there twice as fast.

Do you want to buy last chaos gold for your character, and last powerleveling to get a higher level for your character in short time, if you need to buy these good..
WEAPONS
You get your healer out of the box at level 2-4. First thing you want to do is get your self a guardian and level to 20 in 10 days as fast as possible. doing this will get you your Own Last chaos gold(healer event weapon) its attack is 84 which is roughly equivalent to a level 29 bow that you can use once your level 17, so if you complete it you get to use it till your level 31. You can pack a scepter once in a while as its useful in pet leveling and personal dungeons, but if you have multi-strike, a bow is fine too.
PETS
On early levels, it is not wise to use a scepter unless you are pet leveling. Remember that you want to level as fast as you can to level 31 to get to change class. Get a pet pony and don't mount it untill level 37 in Last chaos gold. Mounting at 31 is fine but you will have to raise another one to get it to level 37 (at this level they give both level 10 offensive and defensive buffs)
Using your pet you would want to put the pet's Tech pts. Towards DEF and some on HP so that you won't die too fast. Play around with the stats, they're free to reset at the pet trainer.
SKILLS
Spend your Lastchaos gold wisely… once sp is spent, its gone… so make sure that you spend it wisely on the following skills
1. heal
2. party heal
3. fast bow fixing
4. rise focus
5. rise mana
6. Poison Arrow
7. mana shield
8. double sling shot
The other skills just get the minimum requirement if needed to acquire the next skill.
STATS
Before level 31, just put all stats into DEX as you need the high evasion and attack power this will give you. Don't worry about the Lastchaos money and the DEF, your pet can take care of you.
